A study in contradiction. We mapped the raw texture of Nordic basalt onto premium Italian Nappa leather. It looks like ancient stone; it feels like second skin.

Total Mintage: 100 Units. Status: Open. Includes a physical, numbered Certificate of Authenticity (COA) signed by SKÆR STUDIO. Once this run is sold out, the "Volcanic Cloud" texture will be retired to the vault.

Series: Geological I

The Volcanic Cloud Clutch is designed to challenge perception. Visually, it possesses the brutal, porous texture of cooled lava rock found on the beaches of Vík, Norway. Tactilely, it offers the buttery softness of high-grade Nappa leather.

Engineered with architectural pleating to create volume without weight, this piece serves as both a functional carry and a sculptural object. Finished with polished nickel hardware that mimics the cold steel of industrial machinery.

MATERIAL CARE

Maintenance & Care

Your Volcanic Cloud Clutch is crafted from premium Italian Nappa leather. Like all organic materials, it requires specific care to maintain its structural integrity.

  • Surface: Wipe gently with a soft, damp white cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: When not in use, store in the provided dust bag to protect against dust and prolonged sunlight exposure.
  • Evolution: The leather grain will naturally soften and evolve with use. This patina is a mark of authenticity and unique to every piece.
  • Water: Protect from heavy rain. If the bag gets wet, allow it to dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
